I Love How You Love Me

Simple words and truly from heart, a song which expresses love so beautifully...

I Love How You Love Me

Paris Sisters
Words and Music by Larry Kolber and Barry Mann
I love how your eyes close whenever you kiss me
And when I'm away from you I love how you miss me
I love the way you always treat me tenderly
But, darling, most of all I love how you love me.(love how you love me)
I love how your heart beats whenever I hold you
I love how you think of me without being told to
I love the way your touch is always heavenly
But, darling, most of all I love how you love me (love how you love me)

I love how your eyes close whenever you kiss me
And when I'm away from you I love how you miss me
I love the way your touch is always heavenly
But, darling, most of all I love how you love me (love how you love me)
I love how you hug me (love how you hug me)
I love how you squeeze me, tease me, please me
Love---how you love me
I love how you love me.

A good read for a bigger perspective

Ideas and Opinions
By Albert Einstein, Sonja Bargmann (Translator)

'Ideas and Opinions' is a collection of writings by Albert Einstein. The writings are organised in sections including politics, science, philosophy, etc.
The book intrigued me because I wanted to know what one of the greatest mind on earth thought about the world. The book isn't an autobiography but the collection of letters and lectures gives you a peep inside the great mind of a great thinker. Though, not everyone will agree to all the views in the book, still it is amazingly interesting, engaging and intellectually stimulating.
As a student, many of us have cursed great scientist (not literally) for the amount of complex theories they left us to mug up. But read this book and you will get to know the human side of Albert Einstein and how his ideas and opinions, decades ago, were much more better than what most of us in this modern world have.
It is surprising how his ideas are prevalent in today's time too.

You will be amazed by the thought process and notions of a man who postulated the 'Theory of Relativity'.
A good read and I must, I suggest. Thought provoking and invigorating.

Note: If you are a young student, reading this book before mugging all the theories, will definitely help you! Not that the theories will get easier, but they will certainly get interesting once you get to know the man behind them.)

Strawberry Daiquiri: Beat that heat and make it a romantic evening..

STRAWBERRIES!!!!

Don't you just get tempted by the look of this fruit?

There's more to strawberries than eating them raw and one of the way is making a sexy cocktail for a romantic evening.

I made this for a valentine's day dinner with my fiance and I am glad I did!

It's a simple cocktail and hardly takes 15 minutes to prepare. Usually prepared with white rum, I used vodka instead.
So here's the recipe to beat the heat..

STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI

Ingredients:

  • 12-14 fresh strawberries (you can use a squash, but I prefer fresh strawberries)
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • Vodka
  • Ginger (brings in a nice flavor)
  • Mint leaves
  • Salt
  • Ice

Method:

In a blender, combine strawberries, sugar, 2 pinches of salt, a zest of ginger, 4-5 mint leaves.

Blend until smooth and you will get a concentrated pulp.

In a glass, add 30ml Vodka, two tablespoons of the pulp, required quantity of cold water and stir well.

Add 3-4 ice cubes and garnish with a mint leaf and a strawberry cut.

Note:
Makes 4-5 serves
You can add a drink like sprite instead of water if you want it frizzy.

Enjoy your evening!! :)

Skin polishers in your kitchen!

Do you often look at your skin and feel its lifeless?
Well, many of us do and also envy that lustrous skin on some women. We think they are just lucky to have a beautiful skin and we are not. But, a beautiful skin doesn't come easy. It takes a lot of time and care that results into a healthy skin.
However, it isn't too hard to care for your skin.

Here is a simple skin polisher, which you can make at  home, as the ingredients are easily available in your kitchen at any given time of the year.

The chickpea flour skin polisher:

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of chickpea flour
  • 3 tablespoons of raw milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

Method:

  • Mix all the ingredients well, so that it forms a smooth paste
  • While applying to your face rub gently with circular motions.

The chickpea flour gently removes the dead cells
Turmeric is a natural antiseptic and has many medicinal qualities good for your skin
The raw milk firms up your skin

Variations in the chickpea flour skin polisher:

1. Replace the milk with curd
Curd has properties of astringent and the lactic acid cleanses the skin

2. Add few drops of lemon if your skin is oily
This works very well if you are applying the paste to scrub your hands too.
The skin on your hands is a bit rough than the skin on your face.
Adding lemon to the polisher will remove dirt and dead cells on hands more efferctively.

3. Add 1 teaspoon of honey
Honey softens the skin and gives it a silky glow.
It is a natural moisturizer, has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, has natural antioxidant properties, which can help protect your skin from ultraviolet exposure damage.
